Choir News Latest edition: MetNotes April 2011

Bruce Whitehead

It is with much sadness that the choir heard that Bruce Whitehead passed away suddenly early on Sunday the 24th of July 2011.

We mourn the loss of Bruce Whitehead, former Choir President and Life Member of the choir, who passed away the day after participating in the final recording session for the choir's new CD. Bruce loved the choir. He was a respected leader and a close friend to many. Bruce was involved in various roles in the choir. Most recently as chair of the Travel Committee which is organising the 2012 overseas tour.

Our condolences go to Raye and their family on this great loss. Raye is well known to the choir members and their wives for her dedicated service in the Ladies' Support Group.

The choir publishes two newsletters regularly, the MetNotes and MetNews.

The MetNotes is a newsletter that we publish three times a year for distribution to our Friends. This contains highlights of the previous period and information about up coming events and preferential booking details.
