Choir News Latest edition: MetNotes Mar 2010
The choir notes the death of Ralph Shurdington who has been a valued member of the choir and it's management committee for over 50 years. After suffering a stroke in 2006 that confined him to a wheel chair he continued to attend practices and carried out his duties as Administrative Officer. Our sincerest condolences to Enid and their family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his fellow choristers.

The latest edition of MetNotes includes information on the choir's activities for the rest of 2010.
You may remember that, in our last edition, we invited you to submit requests for the choir to sing at the Friends of the Choir Concert on 18 April. There is still time for you to do this. Please send your suggestions to Milton Lewis on milton.pam.l@bigpond.com
If you are having difficulty in remembering the name of that song you liked, go to our choir website on www.mmcsa.org and have a look at 'recordings', where you will see the titles of the songs on our latest albums.
If you haven't booked yet for the Friends Concert, send a request for tickets in to Milton Lewis. A choir concert, items by guest artists AND afternoon tea, all for $6 is wonderful value.
No need to wait until April to see the choir in action, why not come along to our Gymanfa Ganu, a Welsh Hymnfest, at Elder Hall this coming Sunday 28 February at 2 pm. Tickets at $10 each will be available at the door.

The choir publishes two newsletters regularly, the MetNotes and MetNews.
The MetNotes is a newsletter that we publish three times a year for distribution to our Friends. This contains highlights of the previous period and information about up coming events and preferential booking details.
